Happy birthday to my 2 nephei. On the left we have Aidan (otherwise known as Potadan) and on the right we have Tommy (aka T-Bone). As a 2-some they are known as 'The Runtmen' so we find them laying about on a pile of runts in their natural forms. Props to Katie for the idea for this picture. Props to me for doing it. Props to Jenni's eggs for being so prone to division.

Happy Birthday Jenni
Lets get the birthdays rolling again. Seen here wading about the Hotlantic is my sister-in-law Jenni. This one is a little bit inside, but the geography is based on a quick sketch of America drawn by Jenni who hales from Long Island. Look closely and see if you can spot Long Island for yourself. Also, Godzilla.
Happy Birthday Andy
Happy belated birthday Andy! Sorry for being so late with this, people being born a few days before you muscled into your time slot. For those of you who haven't been out there yet, this is the beautiful view from Andy and Mary's back porch. Katie and I have just flown in from a picture taken in Arches National Park. Mary seems to have gotten caught up in some sort lycanthropic (look it up, jerk) experiment gone awry. Either way, there seems to be some sort of sacrifice taking place to appease Andy.
Happy Birthday Katie
Last but not least, wrapping up the birthday season is m'lady Katie. This was a picture of our Oakland apartment's living room. Pictured here is Katie, Lindsay, Maddie, sleeping me, and House M.D. Also added in is Cranium (apparently the computer game), map of Thailand, a scary poster, a deck of cards, and a box of Nutty Nuggets.
Happy birthday my sweet helper goat.

Happy Birthday Mike
Only one left after this one. Katie's is actually already done but it is embargoed until she sees it on her birthday. Originally the idea for this one was to put Mike in a scene with all the things of this world that he hates. After being thoroughly disappointed with the different NASCAR images available we scrapped that and stuck him into a vortex of things he likes. I was going to smear the image to try to make it look like everything was being sucked into the void but it just didn't come out right.
The items surrounding Mike are (starting at the 10 o'clock position): The tower at St. Mark's Cathedral in Venice, an Italian boot, hookah, cologne, an Italian dictionary, the Duomo in Italy, pink shirt, German dictionary, Cuban cigars, a bottle of Glenlivet, Dwight from The Office ("It has to be official, and it has to be urine"), CSI Miami VHS, and a bottle of expensive wine. To my knowledge Mike has little to no interest in astronomy.

Happy Birthday Dennis
Another McKeon birthday down. This time it's patriarch Dennis Mckeon's turn. I think the name of this castle is Ashbury Castle. It is in Ireland which is one of Dennis' favorite places as his family is ver' ver' Irish. Also to be seen here is his love of tools, classic cars and pies. If you managed to get an invitation to our wedding you may have an opportunity to sample some of that pie. The picture of Dennis was taken in Italy while he shared a cigar with Michael in Portofino.
Happy Birthday Kevin
McKeon #2. Kevin's birthday just went by so Katie and I punched out this one here.
Kevin, as you can see, has a wide range of interests. Bicycles, Legos, chisels, Jones Soda, and composting toilets were all things we especially tried to work into this one. Usually I like to do something weird with the people but in this case I didn't feel I had to. The outfits were on these people in the original photo and I felt I couldn't really outdo that. Katie's and my characters were holding some sort of fliers originally so it made for a great opportunity to mix in Kevin's interests. And no, paradox's are not specifically one of Kevin's interests.

Happy Birthday Domenica
Now for Katie's family. The first birthday in a steady string of McKeons is Domenica. As a lover of pigs and Napoleon dynamite Katie and I churned this one out for her.
That's Domenica on the right. I'm a big fan of how Katie's face worked out in this one. I consider myself a bit of a cheat here because I actually took the photo of myself specifically for this picture. There's something much more satisfying about making one of these by finding all the sources in different contexts, beating to fit, and painting to match.

An Ode To Haley
There is a bit of a story behind this one. My cousin once removed (I do not know if that is the correct usage of 'once removed') Haley drew Katie and I a picture after visiting NYC for the first time. Here is a photo of the picture.
An excellent drawing that certainly takes me back to the fun time we all spent site seeing. As an ode and/or homage to Haley's work I used her picture as a basis for this next picture.
That is Haley as the Statue of Liberty sharing the skyline with her brother Sean. On the lake you can see my cousin Amanda being guided by her husband Scot on a boat ride. Katie and I lay in wait for opportunity to give them all rabies. This picture was by far the most time consuming and complicated one I've done. Also, I suck at it so there were many time consuming mistakes made. I worked on it while Katie and I watched 'Into The Wild' and I definitely missed major chunks of that movie.

Happy Birthday Grandpa
Hello World
Photo printer? Yes, it's what my dad got me for Christmas this year. Since then I have been churning out a fairly steady stream of Photoshopisms. This is an old hobby of mine and I'm sure laying around somewhere I have all my old work, which basically consists of adding penises into pictures of people I know. My spirit has been rekindled by the photo printer and a seemingly unending string of birthdays.
This was the first picture I made for the photo printer. I made it for my maternal grandmother as a Christmas Card. She is the meat in a Rob-Katie sandwich here. Also in the picture is my Aunt Janet who is playing the roller skating villain. Look closely to find another member of my family who has found the best hiding place.
